6.1 Protection of outward opening doors and windows
- Outward opening doors and windows must not present a hazard along the face
of a building
- Protect outward opening doors by a guarding which extends beyond the swing
of the doors
- Protect windows by either a guarding or a raised tactile surface
- Ensure that the guarding does not itself present a hazard (see 5.2
Street Furniture).
