Accesscode: a Code of Practice on Access and Mobility

An advisory code of practice reflecting current statutory requirements and best practice within the UK for the design of buildings, structures, highways and transportation.

Aknowledgements

Accesscode is a joint project between Merseytravel; the five Merseyside Metropolitan Councils of Knowsley, Liverpool, St. Helens, Sefton, Wirral, Chester City Council.

The Code provides guidance on the design and implementation of inclusive design for buildings, environments, structures, highways and transportation.

Accesscode is managed by a Steering Committee which represents the project partners.
